Binding a Circle (Thread), Hand-Dyeing of the Thread Base

The pattern of "Shippou (Seven Treasures)" forms a circle connecting in all directions, symbolizing wishes such as "the thread spreads widely" and "the thread never breaks."
This design is perfect as a gift or for celebrations, adding a subtle auspicious touch to everyday life.

The material is 100% cotton. The more you wash it, the softer it becomes, developing a pleasant texture.

The gentle circular pattern is easy on the eyes and suitable not only for everyday use but also for small celebrations and gifts. It is a versatile piece that livens up any scene.
The Traditional Craft Technique of "Dyeing" Passed Down from the Meiji Era

Kamawanu’s hand-dyeing technique has been made using the uniquely Japanese dyeing method called "Chusen" since the Meiji era. By placing resist paste and then dyeing in one go, it is characterized by being reversible and usable on both sides without a backing.

Due to the handcrafting process, subtle "variations" occur in colors and patterns, changing as you use it. Each piece is unique, possessing a lively and complementary relationship that deepens over time.
