Tie-dyeing hands | Three leaves with a striped pattern × brownish color | Silk (Tokuyama raw material) | Kyoto Tomodan
Traditional technique "hand-pulled dyeing" creates beautiful colors
Hand-pulled dyeing (tenassen) is a method where shapes are made for each color, and the color is brushed on with a brush, allowing one color at a time to permeate the fabric.
Our handkerchief features a deep red inspired by the Hachijo Pond of Tenmangu Shrine in Okayama and the willow leaves of the Uzumigawa River as a pattern.
Every time you see it, you can feel the warmth of the craftsmanship, adding a refined Japanese accent to your outfit.
