The Traditional Craftsmanship Continuing Since the Meiji Era: "Dyeing"

The handwoven fabric Kamafun is made using the traditional Japanese dyeing technique "Chusen" which has been passed down since the Meiji era. By applying dye all at once while leaving the fabric untreated to repel dye, it is characterized by being reversible and usable on both sides without distinction.

Due to the handmade production process, subtle variations in color and patterns are born, and the texture changes the more you use it. Each piece is unique and develops into a presence like a mutual friend that becomes more familiar over time.
