This flat pouch features an original textile design by Fuwa Market.
It is made from a domestic cotton blend fabric called “Fujikinbai,” a traditional Japanese cotton fabric known for its high quality. Today, precious shuttle looms are used to weave each piece carefully by hand.
The high-quality cotton fabric is hand-dyed one by one by skilled craftsmen at a dyeing workshop in Kyoto.

Since the Edo period, pine has been regarded as a sacred plant where gods dwell. It has been painted on Noh theater stage backdrops and used to welcome the New Year with Kadomatsu decorations, becoming an indispensable presence in Japanese culture and festivals.
