Wishes and prayers incorporated into the Nanten pattern

Nanten for warding off evil
Nanten is a plant passed down from China during the Heian period, valued as a medicinal herb that suppresses misfortune.
From the end of autumn to early winter, it bears many red berries, and it is cherished as a warding-off plant that "turns hardship into happiness."
Also, placing it in the entrance is believed to prevent bad spirits from entering, symbolizing the meaning of warding off evil.
The Hyakka Jiten encyclopedia from the Edo period states, "Planting Nanten prevents fire disasters," and it was commonly planted in many households as a protective charm against fire disasters, ensuring the safety of the home.

The colors are developed in two series: warm reds and gentle blues.

While the colors are subdued, they each have personality and are perfect as a desk brightener.
※ Please understand that there are individual differences in the placement of the Japanese paper due to the use of large sheets.
