Gamaguchi features original textile designs by Fuwa Market.
Made from domestically produced cotton fabric "Fujikinbai" brand, a traditional cotton fabric with a rich history, each piece is carefully hand-dyed using a precious shaft weaving machine.
At a Kyoto dyeing workshop, artisans hand-dye each piece of this high-quality cotton fabric with great care.
The traditional technique creates a deep color tone and a unique harmony that is truly captivating.

The plum blossom is associated with the origin of the traditional tea "Daifuku-cha," a tea made by brewing dried plum and kombu seaweed, originally drunk by Emperor Murakami during the Heian period when he was ill, and became a ritual to pray for a year of health and protection from disease.
