The fabric woven with sesame and cotton is durable, breathable, and moisture-absorbent, making it perfect for active use in sunny places.

Containing sesame improves breathability, making it comfortable even in sweaty seasons and summer. It is a delightful point that it remains soft and easy to dry, allowing it to be used without stiffness even after washing.

The Continuing Craftsmanship of Artisans from the Meiji Era: "Chusen" Dyeing Technique

Kagamune handkerchiefs are made using the traditional Japanese exclusive dyeing technique called "Chusen" (tie-dyeing), which has been passed down since the Meiji era. It is characterized by applying dye all at once while preventing backstaining, making it reversible and usable on both sides.

Due to the handcrafting process, subtle “playfulness” appears in the colors and patterns, changing the tone the more you use it. Each piece grows into a unique existence with a one-of-a-kind expression that becomes more vivid over time.

【About Washing】

・When washing, hand wash gently with plenty of water, lightly stretch it, avoid direct sunlight, and dry in the shade.

【Precautions】

・Occasionally, unique flaws may appear on the handkerchief. Since these flaws often come from the dye, please continue to use it while washing it several times to lighten them. Please use it with peace of mind.
