Yotsume dyeing cloth | Name engraving included, Massless flower, Yama-fuki

Price 6,171円 (tax included)

It is a name tag insertion using a traditional technique called "katazome".

Since it is handmade by all workers, individuality is embedded point by point even in the same stencil.
The edges of the stencil may be frayed, or the dyeing method may change.
That "unevenness" creates expressions and warmth that cannot be made digitally.

※ Because the way the stencil comes out changes depending on the cutting location, you cannot choose the position of the stencil. Please kindly understand this.

The charm of name tag insertion

When it comes to name tag insertion, mass-produced simple laser products are mainstream.
However, this name tag insertion leaves a memorable impression at first glance.
The moment you are praised with "It's a wonderful name tag," you will surely visit us.

Easy to use

Since there are pockets on the left and right when opened, you can separate your own and the other person's name tags, carry two types of name tags, and use them freely and flexibly. Not only as a name tag insertion but also as a card holder that organizes point cards.

Putting thoughts into each one

Making name tag insertions is done with "Yotsume dyeing stencil".
In our dyeing workshop, we use traditional Japanese techniques such as "katazome" and "tubegaki" to apply patterns on cloth and produce products including name tag insertions as natural material products.

<Katazome>
First, an original stencil is made from a design drawing. Place that stencil on the cloth, apply a paste made from rice flour and glue, and brush it on. The parts where the paste is applied do not get dyed and become the white parts of the pattern.

<Tubegaki>
Paste is applied with a freehand brush like tying a raw cream. The parts where the paste is applied remain white, the same as katazome, but tubegaki's major feature is that it allows free expression that cannot be done by hand drawing.

Whichever technique is used, the subsequent process is the same.
After the paste dries, dye is applied with a brush. If it is a single color, it is finished at once, but if multiple colors are applied, they are layered one by one like painting a picture.

Finally, when the paste is washed off with water, the pattern finally floats up vividly, and it is complete when dried.

In this way, after a long process, one cloth is completed, and the shape changes toward name tag insertion.

Stencil found only here

All stencils of "Yotsume dyeing stencil" are original. Therefore, this design can only be obtained here.

The stencil called "massless flower" used for name tag insertion is actually a flower imagined by Mr. Yano Yutaka of "Yotsume dyeing stencil". Since it is a flower born from the creator's imagination and does not actually exist, it is a special design that can only be obtained here.

The color is a vivid mountain-blowing color. The bright yellow that reminds you of the spring sunlight beautifully brightens the mood of the person who carries it.
