[Design & Production]
The designer responsible for the hand-dyeing is Mr. Yoichi Ono, a dyer active in Kochi Prefecture. After working in Oita Prefecture, he relocated his base to Kochi in spring 2025.
By closely sensing natural light, wind, and the sound of rain, he carefully captures everyday landscapes and conveys the meaning of pattern dyeing to express the "Four Seasons of Japan."
The design of the flock pattern is printed using a technique called "hand stamping," where colors are carefully layered one by one.
This handcrafting technique gives a warm harmony and subtle expressions that machines cannot reproduce, which is very charming.
The natural motifs look vivid and lively, adding a gentle expression that fits quietly into everyday life.
