The "Pattern of Happiness" series is an original design born from the traditional Japanese patterns that carry the meaning of "wishing for happiness," combined with a textile designer’s touch.
One of the patterns is the plum blossom, loved by people since ancient times for its beauty, vitality, nobility, and fragrant elegance.
We designed it as a modern item that colors the good motifs of tradition with a contemporary lifestyle.

This is a delightful item that can be used in many ways. As a favorite pouch, it adds a touch of Japanese harmony and color to your everyday life.
Craftsmanship that makes hand-dyeing stand out

This flat pouch features an original textile design by Fuwa Market.
It uses traditional domestic canvas fabric called "Fushikinbai (Rich Gold Plum)," a traditional canvas that now employs a precious shuttle loom for weaving, with each piece carefully handwoven.

The high-quality canvas fabric is hand-dyed by skilled artisans at a dyeing workshop in Kyoto, one piece at a time.
The deep colors and unique blend created by traditional techniques are truly captivating.

Looking closely at the fabric, you can feel the weight of the delicate colors unique to hand-dyeing. Subtle gradations and nuances drawn by handcrafting express a one-of-a-kind beauty.
By dyeing each piece carefully, it creates depth and warmth that cannot be expressed by simple printing.

The exquisite craftsmanship brings out the refined beauty of Japanese tradition. Every time you use it, you can feel the meaning of traditional craftsmanship and Japanese beauty.
Born from the artisan’s handiwork, please experience the charm of this blend of style and warmth.
Wishes and prayers woven into the plum blossom pattern

Plum blossoms for health and disaster prevention
A delicate flower that blooms proudly amid the cold wind. Along with its faintly sweet fragrance, it heralds the early arrival of spring.
The quiet, calm winter landscape’s gentle red, pink, and white hues evoke a breath of life.
In Japan’s oldest anthology of songs, the "Manyoshu," many poems are dedicated to the plum blossom, enchanting people since ancient times.
Speaking of plum blossoms as a good luck charm, it is the tea called "Daifukucha," which contains dried plum and kombu seaweed. Its origin dates back to the mid-Heian period when Emperor Murakami drank it during illness and recovered.
It became a drink to pray for a year free from sickness and disasters.

The colors are warm red tones,

and bright, pop yellow tones in two color variations.
While the colors fall softly blended, each has character, making it ideal as a colorful item for daily use. Since it is a Japanese modern design, it also matches well with bathrobes and kimonos.
※ Because it is made by cutting large pieces of fabric, there are individual differences in the placement of the pattern. Please understand this in advance.
