Hiroya Takahashi, a ceramic artist who built a kiln in Yomitanson, established his foundation in 2005. While learning the basics through kiln firing, he incorporated fresh, vibrant glazes and modern painting styles that do not adhere to tradition, establishing his own unique artistic style. The vessels that brighten the dining table are cherished as “free Yachimun,” bringing both the joy of viewing and the pleasure of use.
