Kamawanu’s handkerchiefs are made using the traditional Japanese dyeing technique called "Chusen" that has been passed down since the Meiji period. It is characterized by applying dye in one go without backstrokes, allowing reversible use without front or back patterns.
Due to the manufacturing process, subtle “playfulness” appears in the colors and folds, and the blend changes the more you use it. Each piece has a unique expression, growing into a presence that becomes like a companion that never fades.

【About Care】
・Both ends of the handkerchief are unfinished without hemming. To prevent fraying at the start of use, please cut the cross threads with scissors. After washing 2 to 3 times, the fraying will settle down and become less noticeable.
【About Washing】
・When washing, hand wash thoroughly with water, lightly stretch the fabric, avoid direct sunlight, and dry.
・Avoid leaving it wet or soaking for a long time.
・At first use, excess dye will come off, but after washing 2 to 3 times, it will settle.
・Using bleach may cause rapid fading.
・Using bleach-containing detergents or strong alkaline detergents may damage the fabric.
・Using a bath may soften the handkerchief, but depending on the dye, discoloration or fading may occur.
【Precautions】
・Sometimes unique stains occur from the handkerchief. Since these stains are often caused by the dye, please reduce usage gradually by washing several times. Please use with confidence.
