Yotsume Dyed Cloth | Name Stamp Included Minpaku Ⅰ Multicolor

Price 6,171円 (tax included)

It is a name tag made using traditional technique "katazome" dyed cloth.

Since it is handmade by all craftsmen, individuality resides in each piece even if it is the same cloth.
The pattern’s ring may be shaky, or the way it is dyed may change.
This "unevenness" brings out expressions and warmth that cannot be created digitally.

* Because the way the cloth comes out changes depending on the cutting location, the position of the cloth cannot be selected. Please understand this in advance.

The name tag is the key to conversation

Speaking of name tags, the mainstream is simple, seamless laser-made ones.
However, this name tag leaves a strong impression at first glance.
The moment you are praised with "What a wonderful name tag," you will surely visit.

Easy to use

Since there are pockets on the left and right when opened, you can separate your name tag and the other person's, or carry two types of name tags, so the way you use it is free and flexible. Not only as a name tag, but also as a card holder that organizes point cards, it is also active.

Putting thoughts into each one

Making the name tag is done with "yotsume dyeing cloth."
In our dyeing workshop, we use traditional Japanese techniques such as "katazome" and "tsutsumikaki" to apply patterns on cloth and produce products such as name tags using those materials.

<Katazome>
First, the stencil is made with original paper. The stencil is placed on the cloth, and a mixture of rice paste and glue is brushed on. The parts where the paste is applied do not get dyed and become the white parts of the pattern.

<Tsutsumikaki>
Freehand brushwork is used to apply the paste. The point where the paste remains white is the same as katazome, but tsutsumikaki’s big feature is that it can express freehand strokes that katazome cannot.

Whichever technique is used, the subsequent process is the same.
After the paste dries, dye is applied with a brush. If it is a single color, it is finished at once, but when layering multiple colors, it is dyed one color at a time, just like painting.

Finally, the paste is washed off with water, and the pattern finally floats clearly, completing the drying process.

In this way, after a long process, one piece of cloth is completed, and the shape is changed to a name tag.

Stencil found only here

All stencils for "yotsume dyeing cloth" are original. Therefore, this design can only be found here.

Various shapes such as circles like rice grains, triangles, lines, dots... many patterns are combined, and the pattern spreads widely as a small canvas called a name tag. Depending on how the cloth is taken, the impression changes, so you can enjoy the individuality of each product even with the same cloth.
